Once repairs are completed and we receive proof of completion by qualified professionals, we still have to wait until the mortgage company receives the final word from the underwriters to process the loan. The title company will arrange a time for you to meet with your escrow officer to sign final paperwork and pay the agreed upon down payment. Once both parties have signed, the bank has given approval, and funds have been received for the down payment, the transaction will close. Now we can celebrate!

We will provide you with information on utility providers for your new home about two weeks out, so you can get accounts set up and ensure a seamless transition between the old owners and you. We will arrange with the seller’s agent to obtain keys, garage door openers and information on various systems such as alarm systems, timed sprinkler systems, hot tubs, etc. We recognize that moving can be stressful.
